Moose Jaw, SK – Oak View Group is thrilled to announce that two-time Brier champion and celebrated curling icon Pat Simmons has joined the team at Temple Gardens Centre as the new Head Ice Technician. Simmons’ arrival marks a significant step forward in the facility’s evolution and solidifies its position as a top-tier curling venue in Canada.

 

With the addition of Mr. Simmons, the Moose Jaw Curling Centre will now also be designated as a High-Performance Regional Training Centre with CURLSASK, offering elite training opportunities for athletes across Saskatchewan.

our organization. In collaboration with CURLSASK, we remain deeply committed to fostering excellence in curling and to inspiring athletes across all levels of participation.”

 

Pat brings a wealth of experience to his new role, not only from decades of competitive play but also from his deep understanding of ice conditions critical for championship-level curling. As Head Ice Technician, he will be responsible for ensuring world-class playing conditions at the Moose Jaw Curling Centre and contributing to the ongoing development of athletes at every level.

  • Back-to-back Tim Hortons Brier champion (2014, 2015)
  • 2-time representative for Canada at the World Men's Curling Championship (Bronze – 2015)
