Sunday Youth League

Sunday Youth League is the perfect way to spend your Sunday afternoon!

This season we will have 2 options to pick from. One option starts at 2:00 PM and runs until 4:00 PM—two full hours of curling fun! First, you'll get 30 minutes of instruction to learn the ropes, then it's time for 5-6 exciting ends of curling!

The second option will start at 2:00 PM and runs until 3:30 PM - 1.5 hours of curling fun for those who may find the two full hours a little long. First, you'll get 30 minutes of instruction to learn the ropes, then its time for 3-4 exciting ends of curling!

You can sign up with a team or join solo—either way, you'll be part of the action!

For kids in Grade 5 and under, helmets are required to keep everyone safe.

Parents, you're invited to help out on the ice, or if you're a curler yourself, we'd love for you to come and help coach the teams! It would be awesome if each team had its very own coach on the ice. If you're interested in helping, just let the Curling Manager know via email or when you sign up at the office.

Come join us for a fun-filled afternoon of curling and learning!

Be sure to click the appropriate registration link based on which session you would prefer.

What Should My Child Wear for curling?

  • TOP: It's no fun being cold on the ice...so wear layers...that way if you get hot you can take off your coat and still be comfortable in a turtleneck or hoodie.
  • BOTTOM: Jogging pants, Yoga Pants or Curling Pants are suggested...something that has flexibility...jeans are NOT recommended.
  • HANDS: A pair of gloves or mittens.
  • FEET: We have sliders that Youth can use at no charge...just bring CLEAN Indoor Shoes with a good grip or wear curling shoes. Purchasing grippers for the feet is also a good idea. NO cowboy boots, NO winter boots, NO muddy shoes, NO socks are to be worn on the ice. You will be kindly asked to leave the ice and find clean indoor shoes before entering bank on the curling ice.
  • OTHER: It is extremely important curlers of all ages do not wear clothing covered in lint or animal hair to maintain good ice conditions.
